Let me add to this that trans ppl, & the Colorado Name Change Project, have also said that u’re being denied a passport even if u’re not changing the “gender” marker, but u are trans.
& more disturbingly, that the passport office is confiscating our personal documents, even originals, PERMANENTLY.
