4/4 I'm embarking on the journey of replacing all the things we get from human connection with things I can do for myself. I feel as if I'm the last person on earth and everyone around me is a NPC. I can do things for them, but they can't do the same for me.

3/? I notice it with friends and work colleagues too.

2/? I show up for others to the point where a therapist has told me I need to show up for myself as much as do for those around me. The people around me just don't reciprocate. If it were just my family or spouse I'd think I needed to be around different people.

This boycott doesn't need a leader. We were already getting results.

Stand on that fam. That's how we get change.

People shit on my friend all the time and yet she doesn't believe in doing anything harmful to others, even in self defense. She deserves the softest of soft lives...but we live on earth.

Same friend talked me down when someone was spreading rumors about me and I was about to go on the offensive. Shit like this makes some us go into villian eras.

That stuck with me all week as I dealt with some really shitty people who are well loved. The shit is haunting me. In my middle age I'm learning to accept that you don't have to "deserve" love. Some of us receive it and some of us just don't.🤷🏾‍♀️
