Commodore 64!
Yes, I still use it.
And yes, that's a super-8 reel of scenes from Star Wars, and yes, I have a projector for it.

I warned you all I was a geek. And if I didn't...well, now you know. 😜😊

Why yes, I do own an 8-Track player. How else would I listen to my Star Wars soundtracks? LP? Cassette? CD?

...well...actually, yes. All of those. 😜😄

99 cents (US)! Swashbuckling, sail-and-sword fantasy, sea battles, evil creatures, epic adventure! If you are a reader and of a nautical bent, watch the teaser trailer on my web site, and read the first chapter of my epic trilogy The Ballad of Scabbard Pete:

Something you didn't yet know about Toni:
I used to design my own line of model rockets, made from cardstock or ordinary paper, plus materials like paper clips and modeling clay. Even worked out pricing, packaging, instructions, etc.. Each of these designs (and many more) were flown successfully.

If you're new to following me, feel free to start a conversation about any topic you see me post about, or anything you think might be of interest based on those.

"Hey can I ask you something?" Is a non-starter for me. Just FYI. Just ask the question. I don't bite.

The algorithm here is strange. I find a lot of men follow me, with usually a single post of a photo and which doesn't seem to match anything in my bio or my posts.

I give my follows more freely to women and to LGBTQIA2S+, to artists, writers, and creatives, with bonus points if you're trans.

Atari 2600.

..oh, and me.

As I build a following here, I'm finding something many of my friends from the other place, and I love you all.

For the benefit of those new to me, an introduction:

I am a trans woman, midway through my 60th turn around the sun. I write sci-fi and fantasy, though not as much as I'd like. 1/3

4 hours sleep, full day of work, have to drive 2 hours tonight, and my current health dictates no caffeine.

But here's me, for your enjoyment (or not; I won't force you). 😊

Spreading the word. If you haven't seen Orlando, do yourself a favor. It's visually gorgeous, musically beautiful, and speaks to social aspects of gender in an interesting setting. The main character lives 400 years (and more) following a command from the queen to never age.
Calling out to all my Trans 🏳️‍⚧️ sisters out there, if you have never seen this gorgeous gender bending film from 1992, feast your eyes! youtu.be/ND22EWsxRZI?...

I had a recent discussion on another social site around the Science Fiction Book Club.

Here the ad, found in Heavy Metal magazine Spring 1986 issue.

The Pern book was in the first set I chose when I joined.
