Democrats have a tiny opening to maybe turn the midterms around as long as they don't totally fumble the ball between now and then. Spoiler, they will definitely fumble the ball.

Exactly. Democrats would realistically need to regain both the house and senate to be able to enforce these rulings. Democrats lost all 3 seats of power. This is kind of the consequences of that.

Only Congress can enforce a court's ruling in regards to elected officials. Currently Democrats are minorities in both House and Senate, so no. Democrats will need to win over moderates before the midterms.

Courts have no jurisdiction to enforce their rulings. Only the House and Senate can penalize another elected official. A court's ruling is a recommendation to Congress, however it's up to Congress to enforce it.

Most things about the industry are haunting.😂 I think it's important to remember that all of the nightmare stores are still happening and are not a relic of the past. However, in this case, lack of legitimate revenue push producers and studios to make friends with increasingly unsavory fellows.

Kids are never going to think 35 year old's are cool. They are old people. I'm almost 45. Grunge came and went a long time ago. You have to respect younger generations need to rebel, even when it's against you.

I will say there is a danger to this type of investment. Hollywood becomes willing to accept money from ANYONE. Western entertainment has increasingly been dependent on Saudi Arabia and Russia for funding. I don't think I have to tell how that could be a problem.

I'd agree 100% when it comes to movies that take risks like Joker or Mickey 17. Risk is important, and helps keep an artform viable and alive. However, when it comes to shallow popcorn flicks, not so much. In that case they often bog down the entire industry with little redeeming value.
