Nigel Farage has spent £1m taking out adverts in the papers to distract from the Nathan Gill Russian bribe scandal.

We can't let him buy himself out of this. We need an investigation into Russian influence in our politics.

Labour has let London down yet again.

The Government has refused to fund vital infrastructure for our city, offered nothing to our struggling hospitality industry, and chickened out of seeking the new Customs Union with the EU our economy needs.

But instead of solving the problem, Labour are using Brexit as an excuse to raise your taxes.

My message ahead of the Budget: Stop blaming Brexit and start fixing it!

Appeals against deportation on human rights grounds are vanishingly rare - less than one per cent of foreign national offenders remain in the UK on human rights grounds. So changing how the Convention is interpreted won’t make a material difference to migration figures
Labour’s plan risks weakening protections for all of us. Human rights are universal - politicians may not always find them politically convenient but it shouldn’t fall to any government to say who those rights should and should not apply to. It’s a slippery slope to oblivion youtu.be/bl0Lm7v_T18?...

The Labour government has released to the media more details of its asylum reforms - to be released on Monday.

Their premise: UK attracts asylum seekers because it is too generous + reducing pull factors will change that.

There is a lot of overspinning from this govt

Latest government cruelties are simply performative, as countless studies have shown these rules won’t work as a deterrence
In Sept 2020 Home Office said its own research + external evidence was asylum seekers rarely knew much about asylum rules, about welfare systems, and that there was no clear link between grant rates + where people apply.

Those who'd heard something did not perceive UK more generous than France
