Dan Quinn says Terry McLaurin will "begin the on-field portions of the rehab" in Madrid this week. A positive step, but no set timetable on when he'll return to games.

"Sometimes these injuries take longer than you want," Quinn said.

Can confirm the #Commanders are adding veteran DE Demarcus Walker to their practice squad. He's listed at 6-4, 280 and has played in 100 career games, most recently with Chicago.

Walker is with the team in Spain and could be a possible elevation for the Dolphins game.

#Commanders WR Treylon Burks is not traveling to Madrid after having minor surgery today on one of his fingers. Team source said it's "not expected to be a long-term issue."

The #Commanders will now be without six defensive starters vs. the Dolphins. Two have torn ACLs, two fractured a fibula, one tore a quad and one is suspended for throwing a punch.

Also without their star QB, starting RB and top two WRs.

Payne did appeal this suspension, but it was upheld. He'll miss the Madrid trip.
The NFL announced that #Commanders DT Daron Payne has been suspended one game without pay for striking Amon-Ra St. Brown in last night's game. Immediately unclear if he plans to appeal.
