Well in that case I stand by my original comment. Starmer is either cynical beyond belief, an idiot or a racist. Maybe a bit of all three, who knows. The important thing is to get rid of him. He clearly can't or won't change. Pretending otherwise wastes time and energy we surely can't spare.

Maybe. Sorry for being abrasive. I voted for this government in the full knowledge that they would disappoint and even disgust me at times. I felt awful after voting. Even with those expectations I am utterly devastated by their actions. It is beyond my worst fears.
