They did escape, but this octupoid fella was waiting to trash their ship when they got back. Don't worry though, they got into a lifeboat and powered by banter headed off into the credits..

Watching Warlords of Atlantis (for research). Currently Captain Birdseye, American Jock, Irish Ship engineer and English Professor have got trapped in Atlantis, which is actually Martian. Professor is now wearing MIND HELMET which is brainwashing him.. I predict Jock will smash it any moment

Its the weekend so I've been back on my PCG nonsense.. I ended up writing my own voxel editor because I couldn't find one that had the features I need. It doesn't look very pretty.. but it allows me to make the data sets I need to make this

I mean, I think @tinysubversions.bsky.social sums it up pretty well in this slide from his talk
the first line of advice is useful, the second is bs.

I don't even have a steam deck, so I'm actually impressed Highrook passed and its now officially Steam Deck Playabe!
Doesn't surprise me that the text is harder to read, or that I haven't got steam controller Icons :)

The blue prince @blueprincegame.bsky.social really reminds me of this book "Maze" by Christopher Martin. It was part of the mid 80s craze of puzzle/mystery books. Really happy to see that this kind of setting/puzzle is still getting some love!

Almost wrapped up with Highrook so finally getting down to the really important tasks. Just edited Alfred's pipe, so that smoking now also provides the gift of song.

I forgot to post this after I took it. Its my pal & ex-bandmate, Jonny's studio. He's been writing the music for Highrook. I spent a few days with him, arguing over plugins and trying to tune synths. It was great, just like old times..
