Colleague hit an error with decades-old code that calibrates MODIS on Terra. An array access was suddenly out of bounds.
Turns out that when the code was written in the early 90s developers sized an array for monthly updates with 300 rows.
No one imagined it would be on orbit longer than 25 years.
