I work with leaders and was an elite athlete myself. I often see the intersection between both and that includes leaders who effortlessly flow through the most difficult times, and even are at their very best when things get tough.

Any person able to release into a Flow state. I see it at times of crisis (eg Hurricanes, other natural disasters) or even a pro cyclist avoiding what looks like near certain disaster when something happens in the peloton. Requires the ability to become more relaxed when things get harder.

Indeed, though Clapham Junction is not Clapham. Lots of nice spots down Northcote Road, the further down you go the quieter the street is on a Friday too.

He is the constituency MP for where I live. He is so predictable in that the only things he care about are those that local (wealthy, in this area) pensioners care about.

Imagine Derek Jeter would approve too.

Way to represent Britain in the most British way 👍🏻😉

Lovely!.. and did you reward yourself by going to Gail's for a coffee (or protesting gentrification outside it) ;)

Am wondering if the idea of needing a mortgage for olive oil will grow momentum and become a sibling to the "stop buying avocado on toast" attack line aimed at GenZ

Too funny 😆 I was born in Britain then was an immigrant (I dot use the word “expat”) for decades, in a country know for the warmth of the people. Moved back and to London and the stone faces of people on public transport and the passive way of being, sad to see

Rumour has it that the first time she did this (a year or two ago), a bunch of Dads were mouthing off that women don't run that fast.. so she entered the race. Go on her FB, the Jamaican patois comments are fantastic !

Ain't it a bit irritating when someone you really don't like as a human being is probably right? This is worth a rewatch youtu.be/xguam0TKMw8?...

Just listened to you and @robarmstrong.bsky.social on the Unhedged pod.

As opposed to putting the s*** back in the donkey, I’m thinking about how do you rebuild trust when it has been destroyed.

Trust is based on both sincerity and competence. Trump has neither. Perhaps Treasury bonds do. Hmm.

No. Tomato sauce as in sauce to make pasta with. Ah well.

I am on trains in and out of London all the time and for me mostly Gen Z who do that ;)

As to Madeira airport, I treat it like London City. Hand luggage only and arrive not too early given how close to funchal and small an airport ;)

Carbs and protein and nothing else.. so assume they put hot sauce on it to give it some taste sensation given the absence of fat. Like me in my 20s as an athlete inhaling masses of pasta, tomato sauce and tinned tuna.. with lots and lots of chilli and hot sauce as it was low fat, high carb etc

Stop being so bossy, pushy and emotional (three words that men are never called, of course!)

Also, always be wary of those who put letters after their name too. My favourite is FRSA, where you only have to get a couple of folks to nominate you to be admitted as a "Fellow".
