A statement win for Arne Slot's side.

Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe both fail to convert from the penalty spot, but goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo end Liverpool's losing run against Real Madrid.

Spoke to half of Cardiff for this piece. Bleak times, but great to hear the thoughts of an impassioned, intelligent scene about what we can do next.

Resisting the urge to be too OTT about this but losing The Moon is a genuine hammer blow for Cardiff and Welsh alternative music. That place was an invaluable space that the capital city has no remaining equivalent of.
Sadly, despite all the positive direction that government/industry seems to be heading in, trying to get to grips with the challenges being faced by our grassroots music ecosystem, it isn't happening fast enough to save vital spaces, valued by their communities and essential to artists.

Hiya Bluesky. Think I’d better share some recent work. Really dug this from Poppy - post-everything heaviness that’s suprisingly accessible.
