Well that’s a bloody impressive run! Great stuff. I’ve been plagued by niggles since coming back from my Arc injury, so not been able to get any kind of consistency or volume. I was 18 mins slower than last year, but so happy to have survived it. 3 weeks ago I thought I was going to have to defer!

Yeah I really felt the lack of training. But it was a good day. And I managed to avoid stacking it! Although if you’re going to go over, it’s always best to have some blood to show for it.

Definitely. It’s a brilliant event. Always nice to be able to enjoy some of that first section on fresh legs too. Was so happy to make it through today unscathed. Hope you had a good race?

It’s my first race since DNFing on the Arc 50, and I’m hideously unprepared. So I’m definitely slightly apprehensive. But… it’s a brilliant race. So I think I’m mostly excited. Good luck!

I’ll see you there bright and early!

You’ve moved on from your non-starter argument to making up things that people have said. No time for this. Work to do. Goodbye. Maybe spend 5 mins of your time online today reading about how elections in the UK work.

I’m guessing you mean ‘explain’, not ‘define’. But no, sorry. I’m not going to explain something that doesn’t need explaining. It’s quite straight forward.

Except I didn’t actually say that second quote did I. If you’re going to quote someone, actually quote what they said.

How?

You’re contradicting both yourself and logic. Also, I have never demanded anyone vote for a party they don’t agree with. But I would always vote for a less-preferred option if it meant stopping fascists winning.

But… he quite clearly doesn’t want to see Farage as PM. The complete opposite in fact. It’s you that doesn’t seem to understand how the UK voting system works, and you’ve made a bit of a fool of yourself here.

It’s really wonderful to see choughs doing so well in Cornwall again. A couple of years ago I saw a couple land on top of the chimney stack on the iconic Botallack Mine engine house - sent a shiver up my spine!

Yes, definitely! Glad you’re enjoying it. It definitely presses a lot of my buttons. Such simple 2 minute pop songs, but they really work their way into your heart.

Genius! 👏🏻👏🏻

I really should have done! Reckon it must have been at least the width of my size 12s.

Two really good candidates to be honest. Changed my mind a few times over the last couple of weeks, but voted for @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social yesterday.

Will do, thank you!

This looks great! Thanks.

Holidaying very near here next summer, so any trail running tips would be greatly appreciated! I don’t know the area at all.

It correlates with the fact that Penzance is in Cornwall…
