I'm sorry you experienced that, but it seems to have convinced you to tar all journalists with the same brush.

"Everybody knows trolls eat people and spit them out. Everybody knows dwarfs cut off your legs.

But at the same time everybody knows that what everybody knows is wrong."

If you don't trust any politican or any journalist, what's the point for you in engaging with any of it? Surely doing so would just make you constantly furious.

The next general election isn't due until 2029. A lot can change in a week, never mind nearly four years.

Big day at U.S. District Court in D.C. where Sean Dunn, the D.C. Sandwich Guy, is on trial for misdemeanor assault of a federal officer.

Border Patrol agent Gregory Lairmore is on the stand narrating surveillance video of the sammie toss.

'Now he’s struck me with the sandwich,' Lairmore says.

Ha, I hadn't spotted that!

And you're right that it's bait, I really shoud've ignored it.

Indeed – I imagine it'll be very popular!

I'm neither a Tom Daley or knitting fan, but I can't imagine either of those things working me up into such a rage that I need to write and publish 800 words about it.

Yeah. You really have to wonder what they think this kind of thing achieves.

The only potential consequence of farting out this feeble fluff is for it to backfire.

So why bother?

It's such a neat idea because they don't have any crime in the countries that have it

Does it not mean that 2/3 of people in a study BY the Economist (and YouGov) believe this, rather than the Economist itself?
