Great post. I think Powell stays and ignores the noise. Trump policies are causing a need for rate cuts, so they will actually be on the same page in July.

I honestly think the ruling is a gift to him. The tariffs are wildly unpopular and are making him look stupid and weak. This gives him an out without losing face. If he were smart he’d take it. But. We all know he’s not smart.

The tariffs are neither popular or conservative. Why would they want a depression? If Trump wants tariffs he has to go through Congress legally. That is what they will rule
