From our rooftop, I can see the place where the Ukraine peace talks are happening now (white buildings on mountain in center of image).
Let's hope for brighter days.

Good idea, I’ve got a few of those as well. Does anybody recognize these pieces?

Sad to learn that Jim Beard has left us. As one of my favorite pianists and composers, he had a truly unique style and, in my opinion, didn't receive the acclaim he deserved. Bon voyage, Jim!

This is my favorite recording of The Art Of Fugue, and the one I grew up with. As for the work itself, the first fugue stands out as the most beautiful one – similar to the Passions and the B Minor Mass, where the opening choruses are the best pieces of the entire works. Right?

"Krampus Saltatorius" | Microtonal Polyrhythms

This is an original electronic track I produced. It explores relationships between polyrhythm and microtonality.

A "krampus saltatorius" is a scary fellow, but at least he likes to dance.

Terry Riley – Requiem for Adam

This is one of my favorite string quartets from any period, and my favorite piece by Terry Riley. Riley wrote it as a requiem for Kronos violinist David Harrington's son, Adam, who died at the age of 16 while hiking with his family.

Happy birthday, Steve Reich!

He's one of my favorite composers, and a few years ago, he signed this album cover for me.

Great list! I'm going to take the recommendation for the Julia Wolfe String Quartets. And I can recommend this one:
