(28 Nov 25): The motto for today's #BeerNerd|s' session is "The Festive Season". I know one of my friends is bringing a pumpkin ale (counts toward #Thanksgiving I guess), so I decided to go full #Xmas with this vintage bottle of #Flea Noel 2021 Amber Ale. 🍺

(08 Nov 25): The theme for today's #BeerNerd tasting is "The Ancient World". There are some Rome or Norse Gods themed beers, but when we were at Pakhuis #Twente the other day, I stumbled across the Lugdunum series by #XBrewing, which I'm sure counts. 👇

Very strong reconmendation if you are ever in the vicinity. Tons and tons of beers from all continents. Basement with "vintage beer cellar". "Treasure Vault" with extremely rare (and pretty expensive) brews.

(10 Oct 25): Celebrating one of the #BeerNerd s' birthday this weekend & presenting him with the full 75cl range by #Montblanc. Founded in '99; taken over by Duvel Moortgat '24. Their specialty are fruit/herb infused beers, e.g. "La Verte" with glacier wormwood.🍺

(15 Sep 25): My contribution to our monthly themed tasting. This month's motto is "WAR". I realized how many military and war-themed beers there actually are (Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire, Waterloo, Trooper, etc etc). These four are by #Kanone in Bavaria.

(1 Sep 25): Day 3 of our #BeerNerd #RoadTrip. Monday is slow in the Netherlands, but we were able to score a few beers by #StJoris in #Breda as well as some at #BeersAndBarrels (no own kit, hence contract brewed). Sadly, the local craft beer shop was also closed.😥🍻

(16 Aug 25): #Peja Pilsner. Swapped this for a #BEVOG with a friend who had doubles. I suspect he may have made the better deal, but I'm still happy to have my first beer from #Kosovo ever, even though I don't expect much in terms of taste. Only 4.2 ABV 🍻

(07 Aug 25): #Bodenkirchener Helles Landbier vs. #Hohenthanner St. Sixtus Doppelbock. Two beers from the same brewery actually; Bodenkirchener is the subsidiary brand. They used to be independent but were taken over by Hohenthanner. 🍻

(20 July 25): #Auer Helles vs. Pilsner. The brewery has been family owned by the Freiherren (Barons) Beck von Peccoz since 1846, but it seems like the Chinese Dashang Group made an entry as a significant investor and shareholder in 2019. 🍺
