When people find it to hard to do on their own they’ll form public benefit corporations to pay for health care. They could call it Blue something. Perhaps this time we should stop there. It seems insurance started becoming unaffordable when we allowed those associations to become for-profit.

I had that same thought today. Grab everything while you can attitude. We need to repeatedly remind the people committing crimes on Trump’s behalf that he might not be around to issue the pardons they’re counting on..

And it’s such a specious argument to both sides this issue. Yes, the Ds have a few bad apples, but the Rs are rotten to the core.

Short term worse. They would double down on Project 2025 because MAGAs days would be numbered. Long term, better. There are too many ambitious Rs who’d have their knives out for Vance rather than let him claim the 2028 nomination. And Vance is SO unlikeable.

Initially I saw this as Israel defending itself against a terrorist attack, but I believe their actions are now genocidal. If Israel is intent to relocate the Palestinian people from Gaza and don’t care what happens to them along the way, isn’t that akin to our own Trail of Tears?

He is an opportunist, but he recognized the vast leadership vacuum in the Democratic Party and seized it.
