In all seriousness, point taken, but if you’re referring to people @ing senators, what else is there to do? Many offices unplugged voicemail on the way out after the shutdown, there aren’t town halls, and, is anyone reading letters sent to offices? I assume staffers check the reply vibe occasionally

Your assistant doesnt tell you about my replies?

I would love to see her become an ardent ant-OpenAI and anti-pseudoscience advocate after this bar exam fiasco. Won’t happen, but it would be amazing to see

I don’t remember Rocky looking so unwell

“Chuck Schumer caved the right way”

This kind of messaging comes across as way more measured and credible when it isn’t preempted by the same person screaming, “Desegregate the skies!”

Shapiro has a lot going for him, but yes, I wouldn’t point to the budget being 120 days late and failing to save Septa as boding well for playing the same game with republicans at the national level.

Senator, if you don’t change leadership, your messaging rings hollow. You all have a weak hand, but not playing it and pretending there’s nothing to be done within your own ranks isn’t going to fly anymore
November 11, 2025 at 3:36 PM
Good. He’s a real one
November 11, 2025 at 2:08 PM
That’s a solid whale pun. Nicely done
November 11, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Without everyone calling for a change in democratic leadership, this is sound and fury signifying nothing
November 11, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Oh no. This is almost certainly it.

Even when I found the right part of the billing dept., they asked for all of my PII and said they’d have to get back to me hours later, which really didn’t fill me with confidence that pricing is anything but tailored to the person and not set by a market

I agree wholeheartedly. When I inquired about what my imaging would cost without insurance, I was bounced around within the Jefferson system for hours across multiple days. No one seemed to believe it was their role to know.

Are you saying I won’t be able to 10X my whales? Gonna be a tough conversation with the family
November 11, 2025 at 3:09 AM
Good advice. NY has bonkers-ass voting laws for a solidly blue state

Been shouting and sputtering to the pets all day about how the senate dems’ greatest moral failure is making Fetterman look like he was right all along.

But this is a much clearer and coherent articulation of the problem. Thank you for this.

It’s maddening. An I get that clinicians should be doing medicine. But **someone** should know the out of pocket cost, because (in theory) that doesn’t depend on the combinatorics of insurance billing.
November 11, 2025 at 2:54 AM
It begs the question, if you got nothing and Johnson won’t take up the December vote, why you did the shutdown at all. THIS WAS NOT UNCLEAR WHEN YOU WERE HOLDING OUT FOR REAL ACA PROTECTIONS. You’ve undermined the case entirely.

Hold them accountable HOW?
November 10, 2025 at 10:29 PM
Where is the call to change leadership
November 10, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Your party platform cannot be “We Watched It Happen 2028.”

Why would you expect anyone to believe Democrats are up to the immeasurably hard task of righting the Democracy after failing to stand up now?
