Please vaccinate your children! They take all the risks for your decisions. And the risks of serious vaccine complications are almost nil compared to the seriousness of the diseases they protect against.
I wish all figures of authority cared about moms and babies. But some don’t. Some even want you to hurt. And those are the people who cast doubt on the vaccination miracle that has allowed so many of us to live longer and better.

Trump is so out of touch he doesn’t realize that 80% of Democrats would easily sell Bill Clinton out if it meant Trump was gone too.

MTG’s new look. Is she the canary in the coal mine? Does she see a post-Trump world in the near future sooner than the rest of MAGA, and is making a pivot to succeed under those circumstances?

Finally!
I've given my new Senator a lot of shit on here. But I don't think anyone with power has laid out the stakes of what we're facing as clearly as she does right here.

And if she's saying this, it's because she feels she must.

The state wants the violence to justify its own militarization.
This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.

I don't know the author of this storybook about the Portland Frog but it's hilarious and I'd gladly have it read to me every night. 🐸😆

For historians that seemed fairly obvious. We need an educated public, and a media ecosystem that can translate those facts to everyone to ward off such threats.

You can’t be neutral on a moving train.
These are all sourced from “A People’s History of the United States,” and I struggle to think of a more prescient page from a history book that I have read than this one:

Crimes Against Humanity.
I was against Obama’s drone war, and innocent people did die, but at least the intention was to target terrorists acting against the US, and not glorified watery-tart weed-dealers acting on actual demand from US citizens for their product, which the Coast Guard could handle.

I was in Grand Blanc on Friday night for dinner. The act of violence on Sunday is shocking only in its proximity, not in its nature. We’ve been through this thousands of times now. Whatever the motivations of the killer, gun violence is a great scourge, second only to the attacks on our democracy.

While what is happening in Gaza is awful, we also need to speak out on other war crimes, even when the regimes they happen to are not as easily sympathetic.

It’s a tight race between four candidates for the open slot to count the nation’s job numbers. Trump has narrowed it down to his inauguration crowd counter (biased towards high numbers), the person who keeps his golf score (biased towards low numbers),

Governor Whitney just passed something similar. I hope this is planned by Democratic governors to contrast with Republicans kicking an estimated 16 million people off of their health insurance through their legislation.
Governor Katie Hobbs has announced that she and her administration just erased nearly $430M in medical debt for Arizonans.

Thank you Governor, now for this to happen all over the country. 💙👊

Murkowski already had told us she was scared. The impact of the fact that this tie vote comes in the wake of a political assassination should not be dismissed.

I estimated 600-800 people in our small town of Fenton about 10,000 people that voted roughly 2 to 1 for Trump. I heard other estimates of up to 2,000 people. The sniper was there because of a mass shooting threat by a resident in the county. Totally peaceful on all fronts.

I’ve always felt “erasure” was a bit overblown, but clearly not with this administration.
The memory and achievements of Harvey Milk, Harriet Tubman, Thurgood Marshall, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and many other American trailblazers will endure long after the petty, vindictive sycophant Pete Hegseth and his boss disappear from the public stage. www.americaamerica.news/p/snapshot-r...

This alone is a war crime.
69 journalists were killed in all of World War II.

In the past 18 months, Israel has killed more than 221 journalists in Gaza.
