Sydney Lumet rarely had a misstep. The way he and his team captured the feeling of burning bare feet on the pavement and short fuses is compelling to say the least. The unrest mixed with the outsider support. There is so much there.

Love that film. One of the best opening sequences with Elton’s Amoreena dissolving into music on the car radio. Great set up for the feet on pavement docu stylings to come.
