Trump keeps commenting on how violent video games have become. He literally foreshadows what’s going to happen next. Unless it’s a fundamentalist Christian entity, nothing is really going to be safe.

It was light years ahead for all aspects: search engine, social media, and entertainment. Instead of competing, competitors lobbied to get them shut down. Feels like participation trophies for all but the actual winner.

I deleted it too. This publicity stunt was so apparent. TikTok was already bought. It’s going to be another tool to use in right wing propaganda. I’m not sticking around to see that transformation.

It was a threat to a controlled propaganda campaign. When you are able to see all sides of an issue in real time and form your own opinions, that’s a threat to those who need to be considered “right”.

Same. I made zero content. I was a learner. Learning how to cook, clean, fix my sink, Italian words. I can use google or YouTube but it’s was somehow easier on TikTok. I feel real grief. Also, I got to see my favorite Palestinian Medo Halimy. I also felt the real loss when he passed.

That is precisely why I and people close to me permanently deleted TikTok. Even if it came back it’s just a tool. I’m tired of being in the game.
