What DOGE found was COBOL code that had a default 0 date value of 1875. When the inputters didn't know the age of a recipient, it defaulted to that year. That's why these geniuses thought they'd found a whole bunch of people who supposedly were 150 years old and receiving Social Security. It's not fraud. It's an inability of teenage programmers to 00 understand legacy code. Stop spreading misinformation. It's embarrassing and dangerous.
