LOL. LMAO.
Erik Siebert, the federal prosecutor whom President Donald Trump pushed out Friday for declining to prosecute his political enemies, listed as an attorney on 675 federal cases.

His replacement, Lindsey Halligan, who's Trump's former lawyer, has worked on only three.
The wildly unqualified lawyer Trump just named to prosecute his enemies
Lindsey Halligan, the new US attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, has no experience as a prosecutor.

When I read the lawsuit, I thought it was so absurd, even by Trump standards, that I was skeptical that it whoever wrote it was even trying to get the courts to take it seriously.
A federal judge has thrown out President Trump's lawsuit against The New York Times.

The suit, he says, "stands unmistakably and inexcusably athwart the requirements" of federal court rules.

It is "decidedly improper and impermissible."

The ruling in NRA v Vullo makes it clear that even this SCOTUS would see what Brendan Carr did is unconstitutional.

Kimmel should sue.

Runaway inflation is a feature, not a bug. Trump wants it because it reduces the value of treasury bond debt and makes it more expensive for Americans to buy foreign products.
August 31, 2025 at 6:57 PM
The anti-vax stuff is throwing a bone to the useful idiots to keep them loyal.
That Trump and Trumpism are fascist doesn’t explain the sheer vandalism of unleashing mass murdering mayhem via RFK to replace medical/scientific institutions of immense value and prestige with medieval peasant superstitions. That is a criminal madness facilitated by but above and beyond fascism.

Everything I heard about microplastics in people's brains or whatever, my first thought was always, "is that bad? What would that even do?"
We don’t currently know whether microplastics have an important impact on health and that is very worthy of investigation but, I have to say, this the current discourse has many hallmarks of a health panic and I am not currently worrying about it.

Why is this even a question? Stornaway is for the leader of the official opposition. The rules explicitly state that you need a seat in parliament to be the leader of the opposition.
May 1, 2025 at 10:17 PM
I wonder which Tory is going to be enough of a bootlicker to give up their seat in parliament so PP can run in a by-election.
April 29, 2025 at 8:05 PM
I wonder where PP is gonna go carpetbagging for a new seat.

The Tories spent more on this election than all other parties combined and still lost.
