It is a non-partisan issue with the laws falling apart at every attempt of every government no matter the stripe.
However, to then invoke Singapore as a gold standard, basically makes me realise you know nothing about Singapore.

Below is trimmed mean inflation. It was 4% at the end of the Coalition term & peaked in Dec 6.8%. 22 budget was enacted in Mar & a special budget occurred in Oct to enact ALP policy.
Therefore, you can blame all of the inflation on the Coalition
