It was a pleasure to present our work on lipid nanoparticle development at #NanoInnovation2025 #YoungInnovation. Very much looking forward to attending this great event next year!

Thrilled that this work is out just in time for ferragosto! Here we used microfluidics to produce a database of nanoparticles and screened different machine learning models to predict nanoparticle attributes (size, dispersity, and loading efficiency).

12th Galenus International Workshop (bit.ly/3YjnrZ4), last week at @i3suporto.bsky.social 📍 213 participants from 15 countries, 11 invited speakers, 27 short talks/106 posters, remarkable keynote by Dr. Robert Langer (@mitofficial.bsky.social). Hope you enjoyed Porto as much as we did hosting you!

This event was co-organized with the Galenus Foundation, and was a unique opportunity to host brilliant colleagues “in house". A heartfelt thank you to our 19 generous sponsors 🌍

The #ControlledReleaseSociety #YoungScientistCommittee is hard at work putting together some stellar events for for the #CRS2025 Annual Meeting. If you'll be in Philadelphia this July, make sure you add them to your schedule!

Excited to share that our work on #adhesive #auxetic #patches for dynamic organ repair has been funded by the NHLBI! These patches are highly stretchable and adaptable, making them suitable for a variety of organs, and they can deliver therapeutics while providing sustained release.

Congrats to Claudia who defended her BSc thesis and graduated today with top marks in Pharmacy and Biotechnology for Health. Claudia built her project from scratch, developing thermosetting hydrogels for controlled release. Very excited to see what she does next!

Me, a journal editor, this morning: "Why are people submitting papers now? There's no way we're going to find reviewers between now and the new year."

Me, a paper author, this morning: "Thank god I got that paper off my desk and into review before the holidays!"
