I’m still sitting here in awe trying to figure out how someone would not think those two things are connected. If you shut down the email address where your alerts go to, there’s a pretty good chance you’re no longer going to see those alerts. You probably don’t need IT to diagnose that for you.

On a side note - this is also a good time in Texas to watch lifted, heavy duty trucks drive 15 MPH under the speed limit since giant lift kits and fancy rims often cannot actually handle precipitation or anything but dry pavement in general.

It’s pretty wild how extreme the differences can be. I am at a point where I’m questioning whether I even believe rain is a real thing anymore. It’s been so long since it’s rained down here, I don’t remember what it’s like.

I initially started taking GED classes, but it was tough. I went back to my HS and begged the principal to let me go back. They let me back on the condition I was going to enlist. So it worked out for me, but shit happens. Anyone who the discipline to get it done after dropping out gets my respect.

I needed a handful of credits to graduate my senior year but was a moron and ended up dropping out before November. A year later I realized my life was going nowhere so tried to join the army. They told me I needed a GED or diploma. It was easier to swallow my pride and go back to HS than get a GED.

Yeah, I don’t guzzle the stuff, but I put it on a bun-less burger 1-2 times a month and I’ve never tasted strong vinegar.

I keep seeing this post and it pisses me off so much. People are unironically replying and telling her how great of a person she is, which is clearly the goal. Just fucking say you have an old washer and dryer to give away and don’t try to make it seem like it’s charity.
