A gardener who likes drawing, books & nature as well as chess and now attempting to skateboard at 50+😲. I don't trace, or use a lightbox, or draw lines, just draw with my dodgy eyes 🤓🔎 and a pencil 🖍. NO AI

No labels just me take it or leave it.🇬🇧🇺🇦

Finally finished my needle-felting Hare (I know it looks more like a rabbit but I think the colours were wrong). I really enjoyed making it.
I lost a lovely artistic customer today, I'm not religious or anything, but I can't help thinking he was saying goodbye 🥲

The brightest potential can only unfold in the absence of self-critical, self-threatening thoughts.

Self-scaremongering, self-shaming, or self-bullying are mental tools that only disturb your best version.

So stop. Be compassionate. Let the being be.

“The Visitor”. I want the title to be ambiguous. Whenever I see coyotes in the ravine I feel an invisible membrane of territory.

This masterpiece by the great artist Steve Huston looks like a painting in water, capable of suspending his subjects in space and time, which thrill with vivid moments of figurative dynamism and give the observer the sensation of being able to literally swim in his brush strokes full of life...

Not even December and I've seen Christmas Decorations up for more that a week. I'm one of those that feels depressed around the silly season. I have my reasons. It did kind of make me smile though.

Making some progress on both my skateboards (yes I have two 🙄). I can now push and put my back foot on. Haven't worked up the nerve to twist my front foot to the side, but I feel good about getting better at it all the same.😊🛹

It's nice to finish things but I'm such a fidgety person I was already thinking what next before I had finished what I was doing. I am guilty of starting things and putting them down and not finishing them, maybe that's why. I'm enjoying the process so much I don't want it to end.

#Small. Yep, I think this gorgeous little green tree frog qualifies. It's today's theme for #BlueSkyArtShow. It was hanging out on my Lady in Red hydrangea, living its best life. #photography #wildlife #wildlifephotography #EastCoastKin #frogs #hylidae #amphibians
