I think it's you missing the point. Governor Cox was the one to differentiate between the "us and them". The poster pointed that out. Why lecture her? Maybe write to Cox, let him know the importance of leaning on similarities rather than differences?

Personally, I think you're reading way too much into the OP's use of a lower case s in state. She makes a valid point in the us vs them mentality that's destroyed any unity in this country. You commented on my comment though [not on the OP's post] telling me to watch the full clip, which I had.

I watched the entire clip. He said he had hoped the shooter wasn't "one of us", that he had hoped the shooter came from another state, or another country. That means he believe people from other countries [as well as other states] are "them". He said this right in front of Patel. What don't you get?

Is the brown guy next to you included as "us"? Is he somehow exempted from the "them" statement you just put on his and every other naturalized citizen's homelands? From what tribe did the Coxes originate please?

I had to turn it off. He was a nationalist that claimed to Christian. He used the Bible to justify his hate of homosexuals. He made terribly derogatory comments against minorities. I'm betting Jesus had a few choice words for the guy.

Because they've been told for years by Kash Patel and DannBongino who are now #s 1 and 2 at the FBI that Dems are all pedophiles and the Epstein list would prove it. Now Bondi who claimed the list was on her desk in February now says there's no list, he killed himself, nothing to see here.
