Heartbreaking news that the brave Anas Al Sharif was killed. Israel has consistently targeted journalists so that the world will not see the genocidal violence it is inflicting on the people of Gaza.
Al Jazeera journalist Anas Al-Sharif was killed in an Israeli strike on a Gaza press tent alongside four other journalists. Despite threats, he vowed to report “till the end.” Press freedom groups warn his killing follows an Israeli smear campaign.

The Arab countries neighbouring or close to Palestine and Sudan have been one of the biggest disappointments in the starvation and genocidal violence we are witnessing. May all their regimes fall and may their people gain both courage and liberation for all.

I think the general incoherence about the situation in Sweida is because ppl have a strong desire for a good guy/bad guy dynamic nd that very much doesnt exist. When this is applied not to political entities but to sects, it becomes an excercise in politics of extermination.
