Can't imagine the last time I did an art trade with anyone and I realize I used to enjoy doing so much drawing due to me and other artists sending silly oc drawings back and forth to each other.
I miss that but not like I think it's easy to get back to that so I gotta kinda hype up myself by myself

Petition for artists to stop apologizing for delays in posting or delivering on products.
I tend to occasionally touch this but it's fr sad ppl are like 'I was in accident/got hospitalized/I was near death, etc so sorry for any art delays'

Good thread a friend shared & now I gotta. I'd seldom reveal I'm black & used to fear sharing photos not just for privacy reasons but thought it'd change how I'm treated, even if a lil. I'm still in the habit of code switching & suppressing who I am to avoid others feeling intimidated somehow

I realize I definitely have more fun doing pieces for folks where I get to do what I wish, even with a pinch of structure involved. And I'm grateful to those who love my results when I take whatever little they give me and just run with it lol
