I just watched Mississippi burning the other day, and I think that’s a movie that could do with a remake, but I was reflecting as I watched it that we literally just don’t have a Gene Hackman anymore. Legitimately can’t think of a modern actor who could fill that role.

I have maintained that he is the best of the current crop of wrestlers turned actors, but I have long ago given up any hope of him ever being a normal human.

There are a word shows that base things on how popular the movies are. Complaining about a show that doesn’t because it doesn’t is silly. It’s like me complaining that I can’t get lobster at McDonald’s. A bizarre thing to say as a criticism of a restaurant that doesn’t serve lobster.
