The symbol on the Khaenriah's door is not a simple sun.
It was originally a red moon symbol, but a big "black" sun was added on it. So now it's an eclypse.
It represent all the dynasties of Khaenriah.

I think a path of "Karma/Justice" might be what he end up going for.
When we really listen to his monolog, it's obvious his real problem with the current world is that he think it is not "just" enough, and that the strongs don't protect the weaks.

Kaeya is the "bringer of hope/light" for Khaenriah.
It is only by saving Khaenriah from their curse that the rest of Teyvat will be able to be saved from Khaenriah's (and the abyss's) revenge.

Like the prince in the story, Kaeya will chose to bring peace between his two homes.. and while it will make him enemy of the abyss order and probably the fatuis, i don't think his father is part of them.
I think there is a third, hidden group of khaenriah's survivors.

This path of the hangout is supposed to show us that Kaeya won't bend down to the fate the gods chose for him
The fate/destiny they chose for him is one where he have to chose a side, where he betray his father, but he won't do that
That's why i believe he won't chose any side, and will protect both

but the land the prince end up protecting against his father sound more like Khaenriah than Mondstadt (a land not blessed by any gods, one that will come for vengeance if you destroy their land, until all of them are killed).

And I still think that this current "Khaenriah" is NOT allied to the Abyss Order, even if Vedrfolnir played a role in the order's creation.
The abyss don't seem to see Kaeya as an ally for exemple.

Kaeya probably know everything about all that, that's why he simply played along with Dain in the Caribert quest and ran off at the first occasion.
He is probably not Clothar's descendant (but Anfortas's), but it's easier to let Dain think whatever he want to think.
