Also, great yum cha at a good price at Mandarin Centre (Fortune Place). There’s a good dumplings place at the bottom of Lemon Grove, although I forget the name. Also The Dumpling House (near the station) is better than it looks. There’s a good ice cream place nearby too (Gondola).

Oops I meant cookies (there are very good donuts too at Mochi Donuts but maybe not best in Aus). For cookies go to Butter Boy at Chatswood Chase. They have a few other locations too I think.

Can confirm, was a very cool place to live. Unfortunately it’s prohibitively expensive to start a family and buy a place though (hence why I’m no longer there). Amazing Asian food and best donut shop in Australia too.

Especially coming from an administration that has repeatedly demonstrated that it is prepared to make bald-faced lies and turn back on its word at the drop of a hat. Why would you opt-in to giving that administration a huge amount of leverage over you?

It seems that Threads isn’t trying to be a Twitter clone, but wants to be more like a TikTok for microblogging. That’s just not something I’m really interested in though, and I find it hard to believe that there’s much demand for that. Thank goodness there are alternatives.
