I should have asked. Was Postcard stereo or mono? I’ve only got stereo copies. If I could find a cheap mono copy when I’m in the UK it would be an easy purchase

Next door was a little shop that sold tacos (10 for $2) and had some pinball machines..

It is an amazing record. A local store here in Minneapolis brought in import copies upon release and I bought mine then. I knew there was no chance of a US release. Still have it and not willing to part with it.

Housekeeping is interesting; it’s not as good as Local Hero. Check out Gregory’s Girl, That Sinking Feeling, and Comfort and Joy.

Bill Forsyth had a great run with these movies. Comfort and Joy also had music from Mark Knopfler..
