I read (55/52). Not afraid to DNF (20 this year). I make stuff.

Do I need a new project? No

Am I going to embroider a backpack anyway? Yes

My November sweater might be finishing the Totoro colorwork 😂

“Hello, im new in this group, what is the first step to start home schooling?”

Learn how to research.

If you can’t do basic research please don’t homeschool your kid.

I demand an apology for that Lilo & Stitch “remake”
Dear Disney,

We, the American people, and Mr Kimmel, while pleased at the reversal of your vulgar decision, require an apology. An apology for violating our public trust and constitutional rights.

Seriously, anyone rushing to sign back up? They’ll have to do more than that to regain my $

We MIGHT resubscribe to Disney+ if Kimmel isn’t on a leash. Free speech or we’re out.

And they’re lucky, if ESPN didn’t carry hockey we wouldn’t even consider resubscribing.

Apparently the rapture is happening on Wednesday and now I'm like should I even bother folding my laundry if I'm going to be fighting to avoid eternal damnation on Thursday?

Can the scout store keep regular hours please? Sometimes it closes at 5, other times 3. Or maybe noon. Or oops! Not open Friday at all!

And the only place to find the hours is on Google Maps or by going there. It’s no wonder people are frustrated with council.

Sandwich time! Did this one during a homeschool event and got lots of stares 😂 #quilting #quiltsandwich #quilt #quiltwip

I am a complicated parrot!
Pet parrots which typically live alone (whilst those in the wild live in large flocks) were given the technology to call each other. They would use it for up to three hours a day, and developed favourite friends 💔

I’m usually a SciShow fan but, dude, Hank. There are SO MANY scientists who do fiber arts. You couldn’t get any of them to do a guest spot?

The yarn is unraveled, washed, dried, and re-caked. Now what do I do with it?

It’s 50/50 wool/cotton and pills like a mofo. I don’t like it.

Try steeking? If I screw up nothing of value is lost. It’s DK weight in navy, blue, and gray.

If we had this in Texas it would take less than an hour to get from Dallas to Austin. Less than an hour to Houston! Under 60 minutes! And you could do whatever you wanted the whole time!
I enjoyed this. And what an infectious laugh. ❤️

Review: Night Zookeeper – A Great Idea, Poorly Done
When I first heard about Night Zookeeper, I was intrigued. A gamified approach to language arts? A platform that could actually get kids excited about writing? As a homeschooling parent, that sounded almost too good to be true. At first, I thought it might actually deliver. My kids were excited, and while the program was a bit clunky to navigate, I had high hopes.
