This probably won't be the experiment we want. There's already been almost 10 years of development in activity pub as a decentralized internet protocol. bluesky decided to start from scratch, rather than on the work of others. If every company does this then it's just a new centralized internet.

"In Defense of Plants" is very good, i especially enjoy their episode on the Gilboa Fossil Forest.
"The Women's War" very good intro for rojava
"Srsly Wrong" did a great interview of archeologist Paulette Steves on her career leading to her book "indigenous paleolithic of the western hemisphere"

This is sad but not particularly surprising. Relationships are often reduced to fulfillment of gender roles & those roles grant more economic protection to men and fewer protections for women. If rolls cannot be fulfilled then it violates the terms of the arrangement. Those more protected can leave.

IDOP has an episode on the gilboa Fossil Forest that is a forest that started where New York is and ended in part of China, back from when those two pieces of land were touching, well before pangea.

Yeah. I would think that after 17 years and the opportunity to build anything that you want... it's just a little surprising that the project is identically skinned.
