I had an idea early on of a Session 0/A and 0/B where two smaller groups would be on a quest, then both meet at together before Session 1, and be a joined group from there.

I mean that is a good bias! Seen some of the gameplay for the combat system, so might grab it on the next sale!

I’m not entirely sold on the idea of quest options where there is a self-insert DMPC, such as all the Astarion examples.
