I’ve seen a million faces and I’ve rocked like, five or six of them. he/him. Please clap.
He was basically the first guy to do it and I don’t think anyone expected him to keep doing it for 40+ years.

I love this song and apparently some people claim it’s anti-woman, but anyone who says that has only listened to the line with the title in it.

It had no right to go that hard.

And it’s not truly dead until Joel says so (not that it can ever die), and I’m sure he’s got something up his sleeve.

(Besides, I need more Team Emily episodes in my life.)

I still have a sealed BoK precon with one.

The brief moment last year when the most expensive card in it was actually the Shuko was hysterical.

apparently he would be Charlie Cale, but a good deal of the show’s appeal was how awesome Lyonne was as that character. But it would be funny if they did a “previously on Poker Face”and reshot earlier scenes with Dinklage.

Yeah, but see, a black guy was president and then the Democrats were gonna nominate a woman, sooo

I get why people are still gunshy after its spectacular flame out, but I maintain that Cardsphere has fixed a lot of what caused PucaTrade to collapse.
November 12, 2025 at 1:10 AM
(They almost closed, but it was’t because they were failing, the product firehose and every card having 17 variations became too much for what I believe was a 3 person operation. They sold it to the company behind EDHREC.)

Yeah, and there were no money sinks and employees were paid in points. Where a $10 card used to be ~1000 points, you often had to be willing to pay 3-4,000 to get someone to send it to you.
November 11, 2025 at 11:53 PM
The problem was they overly inflated their economy by paying people in points. They became almost worthless and the site collapsed.

The successor is Cardsphere, where every penny in the system was paid in by a user. Fixed a lot of what plagued PucaTrade.

Basically a one way trading site. People listed cards they wanted, you could send something to a person, if they could afford it. When marked as received, you got the agreed value in points in your account, which then enabled your wants to be sent to you.

A couple years ago I saw a dermatologist because I irritated something on my scalp that just kept bleeding. And I said "oh, also I've had this scab on my back for like 6 months but I bet it's because I keep picking at it." That was a melanoma. No issues since removal!

tl;dr: GET YOUR SKIN CHECKED

The majority of people I played with in Grand Prixs were awesome. The majority of opponents at SCG events were not.

I was always super friendly with opponents as they sat down. At one event. I was like “hey, how’s it going?” and his response was “Hi. Count your sideboard.” I’d wish I’d won that round.
