For me, it's more of a confirmation that we're building around Velde and not DDC. Which is a decision I can't say I fully disagree with.

Gio was an incredible communicator, and had a very defined system. Game management is where he floundered. Probably helpful but not super impactful as far as recruiting talent.

I don't mind that. He's a legend, still a good player, and I'd love to see him retire with us...but not on anything close to $725k/yr.
