Nigel Farage & Alex Phillips have been awfully quiet about Nathan Gill pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery relating to pro-Russia statements made in European parliament and articles.

Just wanted to refresh their memories about how they were all a team through that period.

No wonder I've got to keep charging up the Kindle. Sucked into yet another mammoth read. On book 3, there just has to be a big twist at the end of 6.

Today l heard about the exoplanet the size of Saturn orbiting Alpha centauri in the goldilock zone disappearing. This is thought to be because it is a 3 star system. I'll just put it out there. "Three body problem".

Reform UK Kent County Council cancelling Net Zero projects were expected to yield approximately £47 million in surplus income over 30 years, through renewable power generation sold back to the grid.

From a low base solar is now booming in the UK.

Not many people realise that FiT payments come from the energy levy. The scheme has about 800,000 active contracts and helped establish the rooftop solar industry. The current on slaught of anti net zero wants to get rid of the levy.

I've heard on a radio interview a Reform UK spokesman person claim that meetings have been disrupted by Antifa or Antifa style groups. Antifa means Anti Fasicist. It is described as not an organised group but as an ideology or movement. Surely anti fascist means you support freedoms & democracy.

For those thinking about how modern #solar panels perform. It's 9am here in Nottingham and out side it's drizzle yet 24 panels on 2 roof planes East and West are generating 1.5 kw. It's all about light.

Every wondered why Reform UK are so against renewables?
Could it be a sincere well thought out science based policy?
Surely not 92% of funding from fossil fuel interests.
Hey the Conservatives have taken more.
Liberal Democrats more than Labour.
Greens none....

UK battery storage is often left off mix charts—despite 6 GW (6,000 MW) online and 127 GW in the pipeline (58 GW approved). It’s key to grid stability. By contrast, Spain/Portugal had ~60 MW BESS during their recent cascade failure—too little to stop it.

800k households could lose £1.5bn in solar payments if Reform UK scrap green subsidies. That’s 1.5m voters—mostly in Labour areas—set to pay more if Reform get power. In 2010, a typical 8-panel system earned ~£1k/yr. Data: www.ofgem.gov.uk/public-repor...

Cutting green levies sounds big—but most are locked into long-term contracts like FITs & CfDs. Only £1.6bn is removable, saving just 0.7p/kWh—~£20/year. Don’t fall for fake fixes. Real reform means smarter policy, not slogans. #EnergyFacts #GreenLevy #UKBills #NetZero

Just read The Next Prime Minister by Bryan McCormack. UK voters, he says, swing between ‘Salesman’ and ‘Bank Manager’ leaders. With Starmer as the Bank Manager, that means Farage-like it or not-could be next. The pattern fits. But patterns can be broken. The question is: how? #Farage #Election2029

Some are shocked the UK-India trade deal
The UK already has similar Double Contribution Conventions with 50+ countries – including the US, Canada, Japan, and South Korea.
These agreements stop workers being taxed twice on social security when temporarily seconded abroad. The India deal is reciprocal

It's 8:30 am here in Bramcote, Notts. The battery is full, the hot water is 100%, and it will be another day of rocking #NetZero or, in our case #NetPositive. We will be exporting more than we imported. To break even we only need to export (15p/kWh) 46% of what import (7p/kWh).

Extending No Mow May can significantly benefit wildlife—especially pollinators and invertebrates—if coupled with thoughtful management (e.g., late summer cut and remove). But it needs to balance biodiversity gains with social context, aesthetics, and practical maintenance.

So Farage says he will cut fuel duty by 20p a litre costing £9.4billion but giving no details how he would pay for it. The IFS is right, Reform would crash the UK economy even worse than Liz Truss. Don’t believe a word Farage and Tice say. They are just populist fantasists.

We’re ahead of the game this No Mow May—just a neat border trimmed, the rest left wild. Already, the front lawn hums with life, a soft meadow in the making. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for nature is simply... not mow
