They are so massive that they rewrite the fundamental laws that govern their domains.

And they cannot be added to a stable system without destroying it.

Even though the Getty Center is now under the mandatory evacuation zone as a result of the Palisades wildfire, the center says there’s no other place where its priceless art collection could be safer.

Dear @theatlantic.com

Fuck you and your tone policing. Have a mute for being on the wrong side of history. We are done playing nice, we are done with civilized discussion.

Get with the program, or get out of the way.
The brazen murder of a CEO in Midtown Manhattan—and the cheering reaction to his execution—amounts to a blinking-and-blaring warning signal for a society that has become already too inured to bloodshed, @adriennelaf.bsky.social writes. theatln.tc/ZRcsrreK

All natural organic cyanide is easy to find: just gather a cup of apple seeds.
A great pet peeve of mine is when clothing companies refer to plastic garments as "vegan leather." Throwing a virtuous health halo around a petroleum product is wild. Next it'll be all-natural organic cyanide

We all acknowledge money the lifeblood of our communities, our bodies sociopolitical.

Our lives require our lifeblood to circulate everywhere, to every part of the body. Not just to flow to, but enough to nourish, to provide every organs' needs.

Are our economies and communities any different?
Culture & money too. The velocity of money is how fast it moves through the system. Most would spend $100 instantly on a need/bill/debt, some would save for a bit, the rich toss it on the pile and then invest to acquire more. Culture requires that money moving through the system, not being hoarded

The MAGA movement is political fentanyl.

Both tempt the unlucky, those obsolete skills, the ones who abandoned or were abandoned by modern society.

Both numb the addict to their surrounding reality, drive them to shun the upright world and seek others sharing in their post-fact land of alt truths.

Trump's cabinet makes perfect sense if you look at it from a real estate developer's perspective.

Before you erect your edifice, you must first demolish the existing structures.

He's not nominating builders and leaders.

He's nominating a wrecking crew.
