And, well, the brown is worsted. The white speckled yarn is from the trenches of my yarn stash and didn’t have a name tag. It seems a bit thinner than the brown, I think?

Typically I try for two strands of worsted. Or whatever amount of strands equate to double worsted!

the super simple hat knitting pattern I’m using:

1. Cast on 69😏 stitches
2. K2 P1 for seven inches
3. K2TOG 1 row
4. K1 P1 3 rows
5. K2TOG 1 row
6. K1 3 rows
7. KTOG 1 row
8. thread yarn through stitches, pull tight to close it up, weave in the ends

Almost done with the side quest :) I’ve just gotta borrow some double points - I don’t think I’ve any size ten.

I’m also starting to understand the difference between different types of sex work-like stations (courtesans vs concubines), which is cool. Never looked into that before but now I’ve gotta go to the library
