We lost troops in Iraq and Afghanistan too, after America invoked Article 5 and we felt bound by treaty to help. Now if America is demanding mineral resources for military aid, then it's only natural that the Netherlands is compensated by America, too. But we'll take weapons for Ukraine, please.
Canada should ask the Trump administration to repay Canada in mineral resources for its participation in the Afghanistan war and the loss of over a hundred servicemembers. The payment is due.

I do have a suggestion. We have these fundraisers with the patches, and there's merch being sold. Now I'm seeing sweaters and hoodies for sale that could really benefit from a piece of velcro on the upper sleeve(s), so that we can wear a NAFO 69th sweater/hoodie with our favourite patch(es). Idea?
