She was moved to Tooele County jail. Still detained, even though she has a valid work permit and was doing everything she knew of to comply with all immigration requests.
UPDATE: Marta no longer shows up in the SLCo Jail system, but she’s still listed as in ICE custody. That means they’ve moved her. This can make it more difficult for family and lawyers to visit her and help with her case.

What she’s saying is “I have my papers.” We can no longer stand by while this happens.
I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

CONFIRMED ICE at SLC AIRPORT WED, OCT 29TH at 4:15pm: They count on us being paralyzed by shock. It won’t stop until we stop it. Do we risk interfering with federal officers? Or do we just watch it happen while they beg us for help. Is that where you want to live?

Yesterday at wildlife rehab I cleaned the squirrel cage, fed the baby house finches, scrub jays, gold finch, cedar waxwing, coot, doves, hummingbird, and baby bunny. 🐰 Some of the little birdies need food every 45-minutes from dawn to dusk, so they’re keeping us busy.

Today at wildlife rehab I fed a tiny baby finch, weighed a dove, cleaned pens and fed the cedar waxwing, hummingbird, chipmunks, and coot. Did dishes, swept and mopped the floors. Good day.
