Just got back from vacation. When I took a #vacation from work, I took a WHOLE vacation - from social media and traditional news, too.
I couldn’t recommend it enough. Doesn’t need to be a pricey excursion to some exotic place. Just stop tilling the field of fucks long enough for a little growth.

At a comicon in Chicago somewhere between 2009 & 2013, I took pics with Adam West and William Shatner. Adam West was irritable & rude. But older, so. 🤷♀️ William Shatner was a champ! He smiled for 90 minutes thru one picture after another with strangers & made polite chit-chat through his teeth.

If you haven’t read this, YOU SHOULD. I majored in English (and Linguistics) in college, and I am an avid reader. This is my favorite book, ever. Out of a lot of really good contenders. It’s beautiful and if everyone read it, I feel like it could save the world.
