Totally get that. I do it because I'm immunocompromised, and one of my kids gets sick easy, too. My kiddos are so awesome to still wear masks at school. We all hate getting the icks and spreading it at home

I never stopped masking in public because of "normal" stuff like the constant rotation of influenza A/B, RSV, and pneumonia that shows up every year, plus covid 🙃

I'd like to think the guidance on removing pronouns is more of a "save yourself" thing, cuz anyone who specifies pronouns is probably an easy target. But if it came from them, fuck that.
