We have decided to cancel our vacation and build a gazebo and fire pit facing our creek. We are going to spend our summer in our backyard with fancy cocktails and campfires. I am also buying a giant raft to put in the creek so I can bask in the sun like a turtle.

Since, I am very much a beginner at linocuts, I bought 40 2x2 pieces to practice on. I have been struggling with my tool getting away from me and also circles and small spaces. Practice make perfect right? #linocut

The snacks. Lil’ Smokey’s in BBQ Sauce and Hot Honey Cream Cheese Dip. I leave those available all day to snack on. For the dinner my husband is smokin’ ribs and I am making loaded potato wedges. Do either of us care about the Super Bowl? No. The snacks? Yes! #superbowlsunday
