So glad someone picked up on my wee epigram & recognized the name of Stanislav Petrov, a mid-level officer in the Soviet Defense Forces who in 1983 quietly saved the world from nuclear war just by being good at his job & taking seriously his role as a civil servant--like many of those fired by DOGE.

It's worse than secession. The broligarchs want to destroy the nation-state system that's organized the world for ~400yrs & rule as warlords over corporate empires.
This isn't new: the strategy has been perfected in offshore financial centers for ~50yrs. They're just bringing it onshore now.
