Tirren the Bus Cat has the fluffiest cat tail I have seen. This photo doesn't really do justice to it. it's so big and fluffy that when Tirren runs away (which he does often), it looks like he is being followed by another cat.

We have swallows in our garage. The nest is at one end of the pool table. We have hung a drop sheet below them to catch all the shit they drop so it doesn't land on people playing pool. The parent birds are quite used to people wandering around and flit in and out without concern.

OccasionalIy play Paradroid. It's a cool wee game where you are a droid and you take over a ship by taking over other higher droids until you reach the top.I found out today there is more than 1 ship! There are about 8 ships you need to defeat to beat the game. #Gaming

I have to say I don't like Snifters. I was at a conference and it was one of the joke prizes at the closing session. As they were off the market or close to it, I just pinned them on the wall and left them.

Power costs in NZ have risen a lot over the past year. We are using substantially less power than last year because of way warmer weather - though we are still high users. However, our bills are substantially the same as they were last year.
