Cognitive behavioral interventions (CBI) use CBT-inspired techniques in contexts where a full course of therapy might not be appropriate or feasible. They also work, particularly to reduce criminal and violent recidivism. More than 100 studies say so. counciloncj.org/meeting-bull...

Many local jurisdictions fly blind, trying to stop gun violence without understanding where, and among whom, it concentrates. Problem analyses are a critical first but overlooked step for saving lives. @vrcinfo.bsky.social put together a symposium and white paper on the topic. vrc.umd.edu/convenings
